Dancer and choreographer, Zo\\u00eb De Sousa approaches song and movement as a unified whole and a process of transformation.<\/p>

She created her first works as part of the Ateliers at the Conservatoire National Sup\\u00e9rieur de Musique et de Danse of Paris, under the direction of C\\u00e9dric Andrieux. After completing a Master\\u2019s degree in choreographic studies, where she was mentored by Myriam Gourfink and Pauline Le Boulba, Zo\\u00eb created \\u00a0Peaux \\u2013 Troisi\\u00e8me Hymne<\/em> , a performance for seven dancers, and became an artist-in-residence at the Espace Pasolini in Valenciennes in 2021.<\/p>

As a dancer, Zo\\u00eb performed the solo IBM 1401<\/a> by Icelandic choreographer Erna Omarsdottir in 2018, while studying at the CNSMDP, and developed her skills with the Conservatory\\u2019s young company. She went on to work with Dominique Brun, J\\u00e9r\\u00f4me Bel, and Anne Collod.<\/p>

Today, Zo\\u00eb is actively involved in creation as a performer (for Anne Collod and Myl\\u00e8ne Benoit), an artistic collaborator (for Eva Aubigny and Pierre Morillon), and a choreographer. In 2024, she created \\u00a0Le Soupir du Sable<\/em> , a song-and-dance duet with her father, Philippe De Sousa, a fado guitarist, in which she revisits a personal legacy of traditional Portuguese song. For this piece, water and its physicality serve as the foundation for the choreography. Floriane De Gracia lives in Paris area and makes work through dance, film and writing. She thinks of her work as ongoing research, in which performances, films and publications are acts of sharing.<\/p>

Trained in classical and contemporary dance, she has been working as assistant choreographer for the duet Lotus Edd\\u00e9 Khouri & Christophe Mac\\u00e9 since 2021. Her practice also draws on two research projects carried out at the universities of Paris 7 and Paris 8: the first on the intersections between popular dance and stage forms, the second on transposing danced movement to the screen.<\/p>

A filmmaker, she has co-directed several films in which dance questions the place of those who watch it. Dancer and choreographer, Zo\\u00eb De Sousa approaches song and movement as a unified whole and a process of transformation.<\/p>

She created her first works as part of the Ateliers at the Conservatoire National Sup\\u00e9rieur de Musique et de Danse of Paris, under the direction of C\\u00e9dric Andrieux. After completing a Master\\u2019s degree in choreographic studies, where she was mentored by Myriam Gourfink and Pauline Le Boulba, Zo\\u00eb created \\u00a0Peaux \\u2013 Troisi\\u00e8me Hymne<\/em> , a performance for seven dancers, and became an artist-in-residence at the Espace Pasolini in Valenciennes in 2021.<\/p>

As a dancer, Zo\\u00eb performed the solo IBM 1401<\/a> by Icelandic choreographer Erna Omarsdottir in 2018, while studying at the CNSMDP, and developed her skills with the Conservatory\\u2019s young company. She went on to work with Dominique Brun, J\\u00e9r\\u00f4me Bel, and Anne Collod.<\/p>

Today, Zo\\u00eb is actively involved in creation as a performer (for Anne Collod and Myl\\u00e8ne Benoit), an artistic collaborator (for Eva Aubigny and Pierre Morillon), and a choreographer. In 2024, she created \\u00a0Le Soupir du Sable<\/em> , a song-and-dance duet with her father, Philippe De Sousa, a fado guitarist, in which she revisits a personal legacy of traditional Portuguese song. For this piece, water and its physicality serve as the foundation for the choreography. Floriane De Gracia lives in Paris area and makes work through dance, film and writing. She thinks of her work as ongoing research, in which performances, films and publications are acts of sharing.<\/p>

Trained in classical and contemporary dance, she has been working as assistant choreographer for the duet Lotus Edd\\u00e9 Khouri & Christophe Mac\\u00e9 since 2021. Her practice also draws on two research projects carried out at the universities of Paris 7 and Paris 8: the first on the intersections between popular dance and stage forms, the second on transposing danced movement to the screen.<\/p>

A filmmaker, she has co-directed several films in which dance questions the place of those who watch it.
